Until 2010 the beach was neglected, it is a great white sandy beach of about 7 Km long, everywhere were big holes where they stole trucks of sand for building purposes. 200 meters from the water edge was all rocky of limestones and very few trees can grow during the 3 months rainy season and the rest of the year was dry and brown.

In 10 Oct 2010 (10-10-10) 6 years ago a cornerstones were placed by Governor NTT Frans Lebu Raya, Bupati Kornelius Kodi Mete and The Catholic Archbishop Edmund Woga, marked the begining of the developments of tourist resorts and fascilities, but this great ideas is not supported by the availability of electricity and water until now (15 March 2017). So the expected investors following Mario Hotel is not yet coming materialized although all beach front land are already bought by various investors.

1700 trucks of black furtail land were transported to the 2  ha land of Mario Hotel at Pantai Kita Mananga Aba, consisted of Ramadana Beachm Karuni Beach and Letekonda Beach. Water is brought by trucks to water the plants and the hotel’s need, and 88 KVA Generator Set is used during the night time and during the day time the heat always drives the tourists away. No full time electricity and no WIFI is the biggest enemy of developing a tourist destinations nowadays,  but the Government may think but not think seriously to support the developments.
